Little Compton Elementary Stamp-It!

Calendar Oct 2, 2018 at 3 pm, runs for 6 weeks

Little Compton Elementary - Grades K-2

Each week students will experiment with making and using a variety of our own handmade stamps for use in creating homemade cards, letterhead, scrapbooks and more!  Students will learn the process using a variety of materials and experimenting with the marks each makes.  Then use the stamps to create art pieces all their own!

Classes are every Tuesday beginning October 2, 2018 and ending November 13, 2018 (Class dates are: 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30 & 11/13 - NO CLASS on 11/6 Election Day

Little Compton Elementary - Grades 2-4

In this class students will experiment using traditional processes in art to make interesting creations.  Focusing on the magic of overlapping colors, textures and varying mediums.  This is a fun and exciting class for students to try new mediums and experiment with how it can change your art from drab to fab!

Classes are every Wednesday beginning October 3, 2018 and ending November 28, 2018 (Class dates are: 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 11/7 & 11/14 - NO CLASS on 10/31 Halloween)

Little Compton Middle - Who Am I Anyway? This is Me.

Little Compton Middle School - Grades 5-8

Who Am I Anyway is designed to engage adolescents in grades 5-8 with a focus on self-awareness through performance/creative art education, somatic/mindfulness technique and group discussion. This program works with big themes:  peer pressure, bullying, substance abuse, acceptance, tolerance, and identifying the social/emotional stressors of normal adolescent behavior while at the same time using an arts integrated template to weave in creative ways to cope with big theme issues-and invite a creative spark of learning. This project is designed to be transformative, educational and creative

Class begins MONDAY, October 15, 2018 and runs for 14 weeks, ending the week of February 4, 2019.  The end date may change as the class progresses and we move into production.  Parents will be notified of any changes in advance.

This class will end in a performance, details will be announced towards the end of the 14 weeks session!
